STOP: Those involved in serious corruption must not receive amnesty

Saturday 25 Nov STOP Organization for Anti-Corruption organized an open seminar on general amnesty bills being dealt in Kurdistan Parliament for both Dr Khamosh Omer and Dana Dara, who are advisers in Kurdistan parliament.
About 20 delegates, including lawyers and experts in the field, participated in the seminar, which ultimately prepared a report with recommendations to be sent to the Legal Committee in the Parliament.
Farman Rashad Director of STOP Organization said in the meeting, if this proposal is not dealt strictly, many of who are involved in major corruption cases will go unpunished thus it will have negative consequences for the whole community, therefore in this seminar they will find weak points in the bill in collaboration with law experts and send it as a memorandum to relevant authorities.
