Armed robbery at Norwegian People’s Aid Office in Erbil

Tuesday, January 2, 2018 the Norwegian People’s Aid’s Office of Humanitarian Disarmament in Erbil in Kurdistan region was robbed.

Six people broke into the office and stole four cars, car keys, computers and electronic equipment.

The guard of the office had been hit by the armed men, knocked down and tied before they drove off with four  cars and more laptops. The guard was found at the office around 8pm Tuesday evening and explained that the men were heavily armed with Kalashnikovs.
